Introduction
Rhinoceros (often abbreviated to Rhino) is a commercial 3D computer graphics and computer-aided design (CAD) application software. Rhino is well known for its freeform NURBS (Non-Uniform Rational B-Splines) surface modeling capabilities which offers great flexibility and presicion to handle complex shapes. Rhino also supports a vast array of plugins, allowing it to be tailored to specific industries or design challenges. A good example is Grasshopper, a node-based visual programming language add-on for Rhino that allows for advanced generative and algorithmic design capabilities.
